LEASE LIDAR

Flexible access without ownership complexity

Leasing shifts the responsibility for equipment operation, monitoring and maintenance to your supplier, including the management of unscheduled LiDAR, power and communications system issues.

It also removes the need for developers to fund and manage major scheduled overhauls, servicing and lifecycle replacement activities. Where downtime occurs due to factors within the lessor's scope of responsibility, service credits may apply for periods when data is unavailable.

By aligning the interests of both parties, leasing encourages maximum uptime, reliable performance and successful data collection outcomes. Combined with a turnkey delivery model, leasing often provides the fastest, simplest and most cost-effective pathway to obtaining high-quality, bankable wind measurement data.

RELOCATION

infrastructure, including power, comms, water, trailers and
fencing, is a focus area for our team.

International relocation

For international relocations, we have systems, processes and

Our BEAM Pod is specifically designed to support relocations,
where it is not optimal to move an ancillary infrastructure
cross borders.

Site or relocation
Or, a relocation may be local, within a wind farm development
site or to a meteorological mast for verification, utilising the
original ancillary infrastructure systems.

Our relocations often include:

  • infield LiDAR and ancillary infrastructure system
    services and maintenance

  • scheduled maintenance under OEM back to base
    arrangements, particularly if warrantee requirements
    must be met

Reporting

Best practice industry reports are provided to advise asset owners
of status and equipment and to inform wind engineers of any
matters that may have affected the equipment during the
data collection phase of the deployment. Reports are offered for:

Depth of experience

Remote field servicing is just that - remote. Long term installations
present various potentially significant risks to your property, the
landowner and community. We always utilise an experienced
technician to assess and mitigate risks when undertaking field
servicing, including:

  • electrical and communication system assessments

  • solar PV panel cleaning and battery inspections

  • fire risk assessment and implementation of mitigation plans

  • vehicle risks, including structural members,
    brakes, suspension and ball bearings

  • security fence condition and installation

  • pests (incl vermin and rodents)

  • lightening impact and risks

All wind measurement assets eventually reach the end of its useful life for a particular project, a particular market, country, a or for a developer within their plans. However, the end of a campaign does not necessarily mean the end of an asset's value.
